Working at The Onion!

Technically, it's the Onion Sports Network, a spoof of ESPN. Been interning there for a few weeks now, and I have to say, I love it. Initially, I was working in the Reserach department, looking up video clips and photos to reference and use in their sketches, but I was recently moved to the Art department to help out there. As much as I liked working there though, I think it was a good move for me. For one, I'm not cooped up in an office all day, which was getting to me. This way, I can be outside for the most part running errands and also physically, I get to help out the crew with getting props from set and running back and forth from office to office. Typically, I probably spend about 12 hours a day there, but I love it. The Sagittarius in me was meant to be doing this kind of work because lately, it's been stagnant, frustrated as to not be doing what it wants to do. I would love for this to become a paying job. It may not be in the high numbers, but for me, the work feels satisfactory enough to where I don't mind it. Granted, I will need some form of income sooner later. I'm doing various gigs here and there, but I do need something more consistent where I know that something coming at the end of the week/2 weeks.
